A Protest: I Quit Supporting Indian Cricket aka Chappell’s XI
I protest against the farce that Indian cricket has become. The seven jokers (Rahul “Lackey” Dravid, Greg “Underarm” Chappell aka Greg “middle finger” Chappell, Kiran “Chappell’s Puppy” More and the remaining non-de-plume’s decided to play the biggest joke in the annals of Indian cricket.
I am disgusted by the state of affairs. Read this article for a decent discussion of the issue.
I have henceforth decided not to watch Indian cricket in any way, nor to watch or support their advertisements and dissociate myself in all ways from this cheap sham.

Don’t be so goddamn parochial. Can you name one match-winning innings played by Ganguly in the Test matches in the past 5 years? Your Rahul “lackey” Dravid played several; so did Laxman and Tendulkar. Ganguly’s captaincy record is largely due to the selflessness of Rahul “lackey” Dravid. Yuvraj certainly deserves to be picked ahead of Ganguly who would have been dropped 2 years ago but for his clout with Dalmiya. Yes, there is a lot of politics in BCCI; it was largely the doings of the Dalmiya-Saurav clique. He has now been hoisted on his own petard.

@Ashish
Let me see. I can name several but will start with only three. How about the first test match in Australia where the hosts suffered a humbling defeat and the last but one in Zimbabwe and the last one against Sri Lanka in India?
> Yuvraj certainly deserves to be picked ahead of Ganguly
Based on?
> selflessness of Rahul “lackey” Dravid
He doesn’t look very “selfless” to me or to Arjuna Ranatunga among others.
> Don’t be so goddamn parochial
Umm well.. so what do you want me to be?
Shout All Hail Greg “Underarm” Chappell and bow to his “infinite wisdom” like More and his merry bunch of jokers?
